Freelance Writer Public Relations Consultant and Editor
Christine A. Krahling
is the editor of Lehigh Valley
Marketplace. Before becoming editor, she was a development
director, freelance writer and editor, and a public relations
consultant. She has published articles on philanthropy, the arts,
health, food, business and lifestyle topics. She has also written book
and restaurant reviews. Her essay titled “The Most Meaningful
Legacies Can’t be Measured” was published in the Hallmark book, 50
Truths Worth Knowing. She is also a contributor to the book, Tell
Me What to Eat if I Have Celiac Disease, and has had op-ed pieces
on domestic violence as well as her experience at the new Yankee
Stadium published in The Morning
Call. She was also featured in The
Morning Call’s “What I’m Reading” where she discussed her
reading interests. She has been interviewed by The
Express-Times on book clubs and founded her own club in 2001, The
Friends of Fiction, where she has hosted authors Adriana Trigiani and
Ben Sherwood.
Christine holds an
associate’s degree in liberal arts/psychology and a certificate in
public relations from Middlesex County College (NJ). She has also
studied psychology at Rutgers University. She was the vice-president
of the former GFWC-Easton Area Women’s Club where she was
responsible for all facets of public relations. She has developed a
seminar titled “Marketing your Direct-Sales Business” and has
completed a teleseminar titled “How to Get Booked on Oprah.”
Christine’s former client list includes Rodale, Inc., ProJeCt
Easton, James T. Brown, PhD and Dawn Josephson. She is a member of the
Greater Lehigh Valley Writers’ Group.
